The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder are both fighting for position in the Western Conference playoff picture on Tuesday night.
Steph Curry and the Warriors beat OKC the last time these teams played in OKC, but can they do it again as slight road favorites? I don’t love betting on the Warriors on the road (7-24 straight up), so my favorite plays in this game are in the prop market.
Here’s one for each squad on Tuesday:
Warriors vs. Thunder best NBA prop bets
- Steph Curry OVER 26.5 Points
- Josh Giddey OVER 32.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
Steph Curry OVER 26.5 Points
Since he’s in just his second game back from a leg injury, Curry may not see his usual workload tonight, but that’s good news for bettors.
Vegas has his points prop at 26.5, even though he’s averaging 29.4 points per game on the season.
Steph has cleared this line in eight of his last 10 games, scoring 27 in his return on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers and Thunder have something in common with Golden State, as all three teams play at a top five pace this season.
Curry dropped 38 in OKC earlier this season, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he pushes that number again tonight.
Josh Giddey OVER 32.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
Josh Giddey has been playing well as of late, picking up the slack with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out of the lineup.
SGA is back, but Giddey still went off with both players in the lineup against the Utah Jazz, scoring 24 points while grabbing seven rebounds and adding nine assists.
Golden State is one of the worst defensive teams on the road this season (28th in defensive rating on the road), so don’t be shocked if OKC scores a ton tonight.
Giddey will have his hands in that since he’s their primary facilitator, and he’s averaging just over 30 PRA on the season. I like him to hit the OVER here.
