The Milwaukee Bucks have hit a bit of a rough patch, dropping three straight games to Eastern Conference contenders over the past week, dropping games by double digits to the Cavaliers, Nets and Celtics.
Now, the Bucks head to a floundering Bulls team in Chicago. The Bulls are 14-19 on the year as questions around the core of Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan have started to come up. They’ll host a Milwaukee team that is 22-11 and two behind the Celtics for the No. 1 seed, can Giannis Antetokounmpo get the team back on track?
Here are the odds for Wednesday’s meeting:

Bucks vs. Bulls Prediction and Pick
The Bucks should overpower a Bulls team that is shooting well, but can’t string together stops on defense. Chicago is 26th in points allowed per 100 possessions in the month of December and the team is 29th in rebounding percentage.
That’s an issue against Milwaukee, who is still waiting for a healthy Khris Middleton to emerge, but won’t need him against this Chicago defense that struggles to keep teams from getting high quality looks, 28th in effective field goal percentage allowed per dunksandthrees.com.
Meanwhile, the Bucks defense should feast with their ability to contest opponent’s jump shots and lock down the paint. The team allows the third fewest shots at the rim and the second lowest effective field goal percentage. Chicago is a team that doesn’t get up three’s, the lowest three-point rate in the league, but they will have to deal with the length of Antetokounmpo and Defensive Player of the Year favorite Brook Lopez all game.
I think we see Milwaukee get on track and cover as a road favorite.
