The Milwaukee Bucks are suddenly two games up on the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference, and they have a chance to add to that lead against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

Orlando has played solid basketball since a 5-20 start, winning 22 of its last 40 games, but it still is the No. 13 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Magic are running into a juggernaut right now, as the Bucks have lost just one game since Jan. 23!

Gary Harris and Wendell Carter Jr. are listed as questionable for Orlando in this game while Jonathan Isaac is out and done for the season. Milwaukee won’t have Goran Dragic or Wesley Matthews available for this contest.

Let’s dive into the latest odds and a pick for this Eastern Conference showdown:

Orlando Magic

Bucks vs. Magic prediction and pick

Orlando has been much better at home this season (15-17 straight up) than on the road, but I have to fade the Magic in this game.

The Bucks are elite as road favorites in the 2022-23 season, going 12-5-2 against the spread and winning those games by an average margin of six points.

The key this season for Milwaukee? Khris Middleton.

When the All-Star wing plays for the Bucks, the team is 17-4 this season, and the Bucks have lost just once with him in the lineup since he returned on Jan. 23.

That’s going to be a problem for the Magic, who are 17th in net rating over their last 10 games (-0.5) while Milwaukee is No. 2 (+10.2).

As long as the Bucks’ trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Jrue Holiday suits up, it should roll against Orlando.
