BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s an amazing comeback story for one beloved Bowling Green family business that never stopped persevering for the sake of its community.
Almost 16 months after the deadly December 2021 tornado destroyed their Meat Shoppe, Rian’s Fatted Calf is opening up its doors.
Right now, the family is busy preparing deliveries and stocking their shelves, wrapping up their final preparations for their grand reopening Wednesday.
The family says it’s a surreal experience that the day is finally here.
Rian’s Fatted Calf Owner Rian Barefoot said, “It’s been a long journey, but we are finally there and we are ready to serve the community again. And we hope the community is ready to come back, which I think from all over town what we’re hearing is they are.”
The family hopes to see you for the grand celebration on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
