Man arrested after ATV thefts in Glasgow – WNKY News 40 Television


GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow police have made an arrest after they say multiple ATVs were stolen.

The Glasgow Police Department says on Jan. 18 and Jan. 20, they received reports of stolen ATVs from Jackie Browning Park and Oil City Road.

During the investigation, authorities say they recovered two of the ATVs. Police identified and arrested Robert Mercer on March 3.

Mercer, 32, is in the Barren County Detention Center, where he faces charges of third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property between $500 and $1,000, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and contempt of court libel/slander resistance order.

His court date is scheduled for March 13.
