LeBron James went off for 48 points in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 140-132 win over the Houston Rockets on MLK Day.

LeBron flirted with a triple-double, adding eight rebounds and nine assists in an important victory for his Lakers.

As expected, NBA Twitter reacted to the King’s incredible performance.

LeBron scoring 30+ on guys that were new borns when he first got to the league. That’s crazy…

48-8-9 for LeBron in a game where literally played against the son of someone he played against as a rookie.

Just a total alien.

Shengun said having LeBron need to defend him was “a great moment,” one he’ll tell his kids about someday. He said he did some trash talking but would not share what was said.

In 20 years, the goat debate is going to be between Cleveland LeBron, Miami LeBron, and Los Angeles LeBron.

Darvin Ham makes it a point to praise Russell Westbrook after being asked a question about LeBron James.

LeBron deserves better talent around him. He is still HIM! 3 weeks until the deadline

Since turning 38, LeBron has gone for 47, 43, 25, 37, 24, 35 and 48 points.

We needed 50 from Lebron to beat the worst team in basketball by 8 points.

Shaking my head.

Points until LeBron passes Kareem in all time scoring after tonight:

LeBron 48/8/9, zero turnovers on 16/26 shooting. What he’s doing is unreal for any age, what he’s doing at his age has never come close to happening before.

LeBron gotta drop damn near 50 for the Lakers to squeak by a 10 win Rockets team. Several key fobs need to be deactivated 🤣

Do not take LeBron James for granted. This shit is not normal.
