Best NFL Week 17 Bet
Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions | Current Best Odds
While you can bet on any game, I love the over in this matchup specifically. These are two of the very worst defenses in the NFL. Chicago ranks 30th in opponent yards per play (6.0) while Detroit is dead-last (6.2).
The over is 8-1 in the Bears’ last nine games as Justin Fields is reaching new heights to offset the terrible defense. The over is also 5-2 in Detroit’s previous nine, as the Lions also pair a strong offense with a poor defensive unit.
Jared Goff is playing some of the best football of his career, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, D’Andre Swift, and company should take advantage of Chicago’s poor defense. Meanwhile, Carolina just gashed Detroit’s run defense for over 200 yards and the Bears are among the NFL’s best rushing teams.
Don’t let the high total fool you. Expect the over to improve to 13-5 in Detroit’s previous 18 games and enjoy the offensive showcase to close out the year.
